We would usually recommend booking a package holiday to Italy.
Reason being, you’ll often get much better value compared to a flight only.
Besides, the final price will be packaged together into one simple booking and include your flights, hotel, full baggage allowance, transfers and ATOL protection.
That said, there are also good reasons for booking a flight only, for example if you want extra flexibility of where you stay with the likes of Airbnb or Booking.com.
As illustrated within this post, there are plenty of different ways in which you can reach Italy from Scotland.
The majority of these routes operate on a seasonal basis, but there are also some year-round options.
We’ve compiled this information using flight aggregator tools such as Google Flights, whilst cross-checking these flight schedules directly with the airlines and travel companies mentioned above.
To accomplish this to a high degree of accuracy, I’m regularly checking flight schedules and relevant news stories from a range of sources, and have great experience in doing so for many different routes.
That said, flight schedules can move quickly so please do contact me using the email address at the footer of this post if you spot any inaccuracies or have anything to add – it would be much appreciated.
We hope you found this useful, and enjoy your holiday!
