If you’re interested in visiting this country any time soon, you might be wondering where you can fly to exactly from your favourite airport.
Well, we regularly monitor flight schedules across the world in a bid to bring you the most up to date, easy to digest information, and here’s the latest.
You can currently fly directly to the following Italian destinations from East Midlands airport:
Italian airport | Airline | Flight schedule | Average flight time | Find holidays / city breaks | Find flights only |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Milan Bergamo | Ryanair | All year round | 2hr | Find holidays / city breaks | Find flights only |
Naples | Jet2 | Seasonal | 3hr | Find holidays / city breaks | Find flights only |
Naples | TUI | Seasonal | 3hr | Find holidays / city breaks | Find flights only |
Pisa | Ryanair | Seasonal | 2hr 30m | Find holidays / city breaks | Find flights only |
Rome Ciampino | Ryanair | All year round | 2hr 45m | Find holidays / city breaks | Find flights only |
Turin | TUI | Seasonal (skiing) | 2hr | Find holidays / city breaks | Find flights only |
Venice Treviso | Ryanair | Seasonal | 2hr 30m | Find holidays / city breaks | Find flights only |
Verona | Jet2 | Seasonal | 2hr 15m | Find holidays / city breaks | Find flights only |
We would usually recommend booking a package holiday / city break to Italy.
Reason being, you’ll often get much better value compared to a flight only.
Besides, the final price will be packaged together into one simple booking and include your flights, hotel, full baggage allowance, often transfers and ATOL protection.
And for the destinations where you have several airlines covering a particular route (only Naples in this instance), it’s worth undergoing individual searches on each relevant website to see for yourself which would be better when it comes to dates, hotels and indeed prices.
This ensures you’ve exhausted all convenient options for yourself, and that you end up booking direct, avoiding any untrustworthy travel companies.
The websites mentioned above are fantastic in terms of user friendliness – just tap in East Midlands airport followed by your Italian destination and you’ll only be presented with dates that are available to book which makes the process so much easier.
That said, there are also good reasons for booking a flight only, for example if you want the extra flexibility in terms of where you stay with the likes of Airbnb or Booking.com.
As illustrated within this post, there are currently seven Italian destinations you can fly directly to from East Midlands airport at the moment.
Airlines operating these routes include Jet2, TUI and Ryanair.
We’ve compiled this information using flight aggregator tools such as Google Flights, whilst cross-checking these flight schedules directly with the airlines and travel companies mentioned above.
To accomplish this to a high degree of accuracy, I’m regularly checking flight schedules and relevant news stories from a range of sources, and have great experience in doing so for many different routes.
That said, flight schedules can move quickly so please do contact me using the email address at the footer of this post if you spot any inaccuracies or have anything to add – it would be much appreciated.
We hope you found this useful, and enjoy your Italian getaway!
