If you’re interested in visiting Italy any time soon, you might be wondering where you can fly to exactly from your favourite airport.
Well, we regularly monitor flight schedules across the world in a bid to bring you the most up to date, easy to digest information, and here’s the latest…
We would recommend considering a package holiday / city break to Italy.
Reason being, you’ll often get much better value compared to a flight-only.
Besides, the final price will be packaged together into one simple booking and include your flights, hotel, full baggage allowance, often transfers and ATOL protection.
Apart from British Airways which isn’t great unless you know your dates, the websites mentioned above are fantastic in terms of user friendliness – just tap in London Gatwick airport followed by your Italian destination and you’ll only be presented with dates that are available to book.
Use the links above to do your own holiday search on a few different websites if needs be, which not only ensures you’ve exhausted all of your convenient options but also ensures that you end up booking direct, avoiding any potentially untrustworthy third parties.
That said, there are also good reasons for booking a flight only, for example if you want the extra flexibility in terms of where you stay with the likes of Airbnb or Booking.com, and we’ve also included links to each airlines websites above.
As illustrated within this post, there are a wide range of Italian destinations you can fly directly to from London Gatwick airport at the moment.
Airlines operating these routes include easyJet, British Airways, Wizz Air, TUI and Vueling at the moment.
We’ve compiled this information using flight aggregator tools such as Google Flights, whilst cross-checking these flight schedules directly with the airlines and travel companies mentioned above.
To accomplish this to a high degree of accuracy, I’m regularly checking flight schedules and relevant news stories from a range of sources, and have great experience in doing so for many different routes.
That said, flight schedules can move quickly so please do contact me using the email address at the footer of this post if you spot any inaccuracies or have anything to add – it would be much appreciated.
We hope you found this useful, and enjoy your Italian getaway!
