This tiny island nestled between North Africa and Sicily offers glorious variety, hidden coves and a remarkable history.
So, it’s no surprise that many people wonder what there best way of getting here is.
Well, we regularly monitor flight schedules across the world in a bid to bring you the most up to date, easy to digest information, and here’s the latest compiled in a table…
We would recommend considering an ATOL protected package holiday to Malta, especially if you’re booking with Jet2, easyJet or British Airways.
The reason being, these airlines offer holidays alongside the flight, and so you can book directly with them and have everything managed by the same company.
Not only does this mean you will be getting the best price by going direct, you’ll also avoid having to book through any third party or online travel agent – many of which are not reputable.
That said, for those airlines that don’t offer holidays like Ryanair, we recommend On The Beach who are also ATOL protected and a have good reputation.
And when it comes to value, you often get a much better deal when your holiday is packaged together to Malta.
Besides, the final price can be bundled together into one simple booking and include your flights, hotel, full baggage allowance and transfers!
And keep an eye on your hotel’s board type, it might be worth upgrading to an all inclusive for example, if the difference isn’t too much, helping you save on spending money.
As outlined above, there are a wide range of airports that fly directly to Malta in the UK.
We’ve compiled this information using flight aggregator tools such as Google Flights, whilst cross-checking these flight schedules directly with the airlines and travel companies mentioned above.
To accomplish this to a high degree of accuracy, I’m regularly checking flight schedules and relevant news stories from a range of sources, and have great experience in doing so for many different routes.
That said, flight schedules can move quickly so please do leave a comment below if you have any questions, spot any inaccuracies or have anything to add – it would be much appreciated.
And it’s a destination we feature regularly in our cheap flights and package holiday alerts newsletter.
