If you’re thinking about visiting any time soon, you might be wondering what your best way of getting here is.
Well, we regularly monitor flight schedules across the world in a bid to bring you the most up to date, easy to digest information, and here’s the latest.
You can currently fly directly to Orlando from the following UK airports:
UK airport | Airline | Flight schedule | Average flight time | Browse holidays | Browse flights |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
London Heathrow | Virgin Atlantic | All year round | 9hr | Browse holidays | Browse flights |
London Gatwick | British Airways | All year round | 9hr | Browse holidays | Browse flights |
London Gatwick | TUI | Seasonal | 9hr | Browse holidays | Browse flights |
London Gatwick | Norse Atlantic | All year round | 9hr | Browse holidays | Browse flights |
Birmingham | TUI | Seasonal | 9hr | Browse holidays | Browse flights |
Manchester | Virgin Atlantic | All year round | 9hr | Browse holidays | Browse flights |
Manchester | TUI | Seasonal | 9hr | Browse holidays | Browse flights |
Manchester | Aer Lingus | All year round | 9hr | Browse holidays | Browse flights |
Newcastle | TUI | Seasonal | 9hr | Browse holidays | Browse flights |
Edinburgh | Virgin Atlantic | Seasonal | 9hr | Browse holidays | Browse flights |
Glasgow International | TUI | Seasonal | 9hr | Browse holidays | Browse flights |
Belfast International | TUI | Seasonal | 9hr | Browse holidays | Browse flights |
We would usually recommend considering an ATOL protected holiday to Orlando.
Reason being, these airlines (with the exception of Norse Atlantic) offer package holidays alongside the flight, and so you can book directly with them and have everything managed by the same company.
Not only does this mean you will be getting the best price by going direct, you’ll also avoid booking through any third party or online travel agent – many of which are not reputable.
And when it comes to value, you often get a much better deal when your holiday is packaged together, especially for long haul destinations like Orlando.
Besides, the final price will include your flights, hotel, full baggage allowance, transfers and ATOL protection!
And keep an eye on your board type, as it might be worth considering an all inclusive for example, if you’re looking to save on spending money whilst you are there!
That said, there are also good reasons for booking a flight only, for example if you want the additional flexibility in terms of where you stay using the likes of Airbnb or Booking.com.
As illustrated above, there are plenty of UK airports that fly directly to Orlando International Airport (MCO).
With Virgin Atlantic, British Airways and Aer Lingus these tend to operate all year round (with the exception of Edinburgh).
With TUI, these flights tend to run on a seasonal basis only and can be limited from some airports.
We’ve compiled this information using flight aggregator tools such as Google Flights, whilst cross-checking these flight schedules directly with the airlines.
And because the flight aggregators do not always catch every single airline covering every single route, we’ve also checked with other airlines potentially flying from the UK to Orlando in order to capture the full picture.
We work hard to bring you the most up to date and accurate flight information, summarised in a unique format which allows you to more efficiently find the best route.
